Road-to-vehicle communication with LED traffic light have been proposed.
The proposed method with PD (single-Photo-Detctor) or IMG (Image sensor) has problem respectively, PD has narrow FOV (Field-Of-View) and IMG can't receive high speed data. Another method, tracking method using image processing has been proposed. However, it possess low reliability. Because the image processing doesn't always detect a traffic light. Hence, we propose a new tracking method using IMG communication. In this paper, both PD and IMG's communication performance are analyzed, and tracking performances are shown. From the results, it is proved that proposed method achives high speed communication with wide range. |
