| (in English) | It is becoming extremely difficult to develop complex, large-scale information systems which assume an increasingly important role as part of the infrastructure of our society. The industry is increasingly looking to universities and colleges for the build-up of high level IT human resources. Against these global trends, we have proposed the method of the project management education to bridge the gap between classroom learning and field practice. More specifically, the curricula for our project management education has been built around a kind of Project Based Learning (PBL): one in which students will form a team consisting of 4 to 5 people and play the role of a project manager or other stakeholder according to the prescribed scenario of a virtual project as if they were playing a game provided as a Web application system on a network. In this paper we describe the methodology to create scenarios of the virtual project, the concept and design policy of the Web application system to provide the role playing game of the virtual project, and point out the future works to solve current issues. | |
