A Formal Model Verification on Robot Control Software

(in English) This paper presents application of the formal specification method to the industrial robot software and its working environment.
We propose a basic sequence of verification about the motion and properties of mathematical model of industrial robots.
VDM was adopted to denote the models.
Our modeling method contains a static model for industrial robots including their environment and a dynamic model for activities of the robots.
The method was tested by a new checking tool implemented by the C language and a VDM CASE tool.
The expected result of the VDM model conforms to the result obtained from the instruction level simulator.
