| (in English) | An image guided surgical system for otologic surgery was developed and evaluated. Real-time patient movement compensation and intraopervative virtual CT is provided. The proposed method was applied for four cochlea implantation surgeries. Accurate insertion of electrodes into the cochlea and the protection of facial nerve were accomplished in all surgeries. The navigation accuracy was approximately 1 mm in fiducal registration error (FRE). | |
