| (in English) | Dual cavity, thin film, bandpass filter whose FWHM is 9nm is formed by ion assisted deposition of alternating of TiO2 /SiO2 layers upon a single mode fiber endface which is supported by SiO2 and ZrO2 ferrule. It was named by BOF(BPF On Fiber-end). The temperature coefficient of its reflection center wavelength is examined, and is found to be +12.3 ~14.4pm/℃, 1.23 to 1.44 times higher than that of an ordinary FBG. It is shown that optical temperature measurement is possible by DWPR(Dual Wavelength Push-pull Reflectometry) proposed by the authors, in which the temperature is derived from the reflectance ratio between a couple of wavelengths on both sides of the center wavelength of the BOF. | |
