Prediction for Field Strength of Narrow-band Signal using Time-varying Path Shadowing Model

(in English) Persons moving around the terminals cause signal level variation in indoor radio communication environments. In this report, the prediction of signal revel variation in indoor propagation environments is reported using the time-varying path shadowing model based on the two-state transition probability model. The shadowing effects on each propagation path are reproduced by the path shadowing model in both line-of-site and non-line-of-site environments, and the characteristics of these signal level prediction results are evaluated at the receiving points where their signal level become high, middle or low because of the multi-path interference. Measurement results are also presented, and the validity of the proposed model and its issues are reported.
