| (in English) | We perform that RZ-DQPSK is suitable for commercial 40 Gb/s WDM systems. We discuss PMD tolerance of RZ-DQPSK based on PMD characteristics of installed fiber in NTT networks and experimentally confirm the PMD tolerance and the stability in the field transmission through high PMD installed DSFs. | |
