In software development, many developers are involved in a development project for a certain period of time. During the project, a large amount of information is exchanged among members by e-mail. As a result, developers have to continue the development process in an “information flood,” and it can affect the progress of the project.
In this paper, we propose the quantification and cost evaluation of the communication process by e-mail. Further, we can eliminate unnecessary communication among members by visualizing the costs. |
