Terahertz pulse generation from organic crystals by using various short pulse lasers

(in English) We report unique terahertz (THz) spectra obtained from 4-dimethylamino-N-methyl-4-stilbazolium tosylate (DAST) emitters via optical rectification with three different pump sources. Superior homogeneity of our crystals was also confirmed by the spatial profile of THz generation efficiency. We also measured THz emission from various organic nonlinear crystals.
