Recently, multi-slice CT is developed. This development enabled us to obtain high spatial resolution thin images in large quantities so 3-D reconstruction was possible. However, because of enormous information, the burden of physicians increased in reading these images. Moreover, in some cases by using 10mm-thick and 2mm-thick CT images, the reading physicians generate different judgments. In this study, we do an analysis of features of the same nodule in terms of its size, CT value and location using 10mm-thick and 2mm-thick CT images to diagnose cancer. |
