| (in English) | This paper presents an PIM evaluation method using antenna near-field which is applicable to an unrestrictive test of electrical contacts. The proposed method has advantages in avoiding the physical connection between the measurement system and DUT, and the impedance matching condition between the system and DUT. Since the DUT is placed in the near-filed of the antenna, high PIM-sensitivity is achieved for low-power excitation such as 0dBm 2tone-test. In this study, it is confirmed that the PIM characteristic of DUT has the dependency in the arrangement method on the antenna. It is contraly shown that the position where the PIM can be detected for any DUT arrangement is existed. Moreover, the connection-failure detection technique is examined as an application of this proposed method, and its effectiveness is confirmed through an experiment. |
