Sequence Pattern Classification Based on Topological Module-Map Constructed by Taylor Expansion Type of Neural Networks

In order to develop the classification technique for sequence pattern,
this paper proposes a novel method that creates a Topological
Module-Map (TMM) composed by Taylor expansion type of neural networks. A crucial idea here is to introduce basic computing methods of Topology and Analysis besides training base-modules for generating TMM with equal-probability distribution. Because the training is just limited to base-modules, the unstable problem in parallal process can be avoided, and the computation cost of TMM will be also drastically reduced. To confirm the effectiveness and practicality of the proposed method, after clarifying the procedure for generating TMM suitable to dynamical system, assignment decision for given sequence patterns with observation noise are carried out. Based on the experimental results, we discuss the merits and demerits of the proposed method. |
