Speculative variable selection methods for quick online learning of classification tasks

(in English) Generally, high dimensional datasets usually include redundant or useless features to achieve the learning of specified input-output relations. If a learning machine learns such datasets, it will need a huge number of samples to achieve a high generalization ability. Although the former variable selection algorithms can extract valuable variables from high dimensional datasets, almost all of them need to prepare all samples in advance. So, they cannot be used for online variable selection tasks. To overcome this drawback, we propose a new online variable selection method. The method is an improved version of our previous work to deal with classification tasks. The new method uses two methods, filter and wrapper methods, simultaneously.
