Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Scaffolding has been proposed as a technique to improve self-directed learning skill. However, there still have little cases of how to implement this function effectively. We propose that we can make use of the IMS-QTI (Question and Test Interoperability) to realize Guided Practices Scaffolding, which is a method to pose questions that gradually lead student from easy or familiar examples to new understandings. We also introduced Constructing feature additionally on Scaffolding as well as Fading. Owing to these functionalities, we can build adaptive Scaffolding environment to support learner’s self-learning ability without human tutor.
