Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Recently, the traffic volume in internet backbone network has been increasing year by year. In this circumstance, the effective traffic measurement methods that can monitor certain packets in a large amount of traffic are required by network operators. We have focused on selective sFlow measurement method that can select certain packets from among the huge traffic volume without extra load of router, and developed this function in commercial router as trial product. Based upon the result of evaluation, we demonstrated effectiveness of selective sFlow in large network. And also, we propose the traffic analysis methods using selective sFlow as case example. After all, by making the best of selective sFlow, we can monitor malicious packets and inspect certain packets related with application service more deeply.
