Methods of generating energy estimation and data gathering suitable for environmental energy based sensor network

(in English) In battery powered wireless sensor networks, it is difficult to sustain the operation for a long time because of the constraint of energy.To solve this problem, energy efficient data gathering schemes and environmental energy harvesting technologies are effective.EEHF estimates the energy gained from the environment using the periodicity of environmental energy.Thus, sensor nodes can use environmental energy efficiently and the network lifetime is extended.However, because the accuracy of the estimation depends on the length of the period and the data gathering scheme used in EEHF does not take the use of environmental energy into consideration, this method still has the room of improvement. In this paper, we propose the accurate energy estimation scheme which does not depend on the lengh of the period and the data gathering scheme which is devised for the environmental energy based sensor network in order to maximize the lifetime.
