Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) The autonomous clustering scheme has been proposed to construct the hierarchical structure in the ad hoc networks. In the autonomous clustering, the network is divided into the clusters. Hi-AODV, which is the hierarchical routing protocol based on the autonomous clustering sheme, has been proposed. In Hi-AODV, each cluster is considered as a virtual node, and routing is
based on the concept of AODV. This paper shows the effectiveness of Hi-AODV by comparing it with ZRP and LANMAR, through simulation experiments with respect to the amount of the control packets, and the ratio of delivered data packetes.
