Receiver Design for UWB Multiple Access System Based on Wavelet Packets

In this paper, we propose UWB multiple access system based on Wavelet Packets.
We design Wavelet Packet waveforms for UWB system, and they are applied as a basis of multiplexing for a high datarate transmission.
Furthermore, the system is not affected by Inter-Symbol Interference because of an addition of Cyclic Prefix.
On the other hand, we can consider the spreading in both time and frequency domain for the multiple access.
In the receiver, by using a result of a channel estimation, the performance of our system is improved significantly. |
