Cognitive radio system consists of multiple wireless access systems that cover overlapping area, and cognitive terminals that use one or more wireless access systems simultaneously to communicate with network. In our system, each cognitive terminal is given one local IP address regardless the number of wireless access systems that it communicates with. In this paper, the experimental system for cognitive radio is introduced. In the system, EVDO, WiMAX and WLAN are used for inter-radio system switching. We have done data transmission basic experiments on the system, and achieved an average end-to-end latency of a few milliseconds including both IP in IP capsule process in control node function and IPSec process in PDIF node. |
