Nowadays, people afflicted with lifestyle-related diseases such as hypertension and obesity are increasing, and the ways to prevent these diseases are desired. Our research develops an ontology-based health support system for people who want to prevent lifestyle-related diseases. In this system, the physical data of a user is collected and checked using a sensor device and a mobile device. Our system also derives health advices suitable for the user by inferring from the collected data and a domain ontology about health. This paper presents the design and implementation of the support system. |
