Numerical Analysis of Electromagnetic Field Using the Conservative Semi-Lagrangian CIP Method

(in English) The authors have investigated the numerical analysis of electromagnetic (EM) fields using the Constrained Interpolation Profile (CIP) Method recently proposed by Yabe. The present study has examined the calculation of the EM field using the Conservative Semi-Lagrangian CIP of the 4th order (CIP-CSL4) method. We investigated the accuracy of the CIP-CSL4 EM field analysis. In addition, the comparison was made between the CIP-CSL4, the CIP, the FDTD and the exact solution. We also demonstrated that the CIP-CSL4 analysis causes less reduction in amplitude than the CIP analysis as EM waves propagate. Moreover, it provides the high performance
regarding the phase accuracy rather than the CIP and the FDTD. In addition, we reported the calculation result in a domain with two different media using this method.
