Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) This article proposes a new placement algorithm of a coordinator node and router nodes in ZigBee sensor network in case of being used as a home network. This algorithm minimizes the total energy consumtion of all nodes and achieves the balancing of energy consumed by each router under the condition that placement of end devices are given. The effectiveness of this algorithm has been shown by simulation for three different network configurations in which end devices are placed in sparse, and two cases placed in dense.
