Pixel-wise Motion Estimation of Fast Moving Objects based on Multiple Block-wise Motion Estimations

(in English) This paper proposes a new pixel-wise motion estimation method that uses the luminance projection correlation and block matching method. Using two types of estimation methods, we can estimate the reliability of each estimating result. Our integration of luminance projection correlation and block matching method is much faster than the simple block matching method. The proposed method uses the overlapping multiple block-wise motion estimations at a pixel, integrates the motion estimations on multiple motion estimation blocks and estimates the reliability and motion vector at each pixel. The proposed method is implemented and experimental results show the effectiveness of the proposed method.
