Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) We have demonstrated the capacity of 100 Gbyte over in a 12cm disc and with the user transfer rate of 100 Mbps over by using a near-filed optical disc drive system (NFDD). The removable performance is required for a NFDD from the practical viewpoint. In this paper, we introduce and discuss some technologies toward the removability of a NFDD and demonstrate the feasibility of a removable NFDD.
