Wireless systems employing MIMO technologies such as IEEE802.11n wireless LAN and IEEE802.16e wireless access are on the verge of standardization. To develop products of these MIMO systems, a MIMO fading simulator with standard MIMO channel model is indispensable. In this report, a 4 × 4 MIMO fading simulator operating at 2.4/5.2GHz band with IEEE802.11n channel models including antenna characteristics is implemented. Hardware and software configuration and evaluation results are given. |
