Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) For allocating resources of optical access networks, a method which exploits constraint satisfaction problem (CSP) technique to support various operation patterns has been proposed.
Its formulation of network resource allocation as CSP has been improved in order to allow for complex and various network configurations.
This method, however, cannot exploit existing approaches that achieve fast search of routes depending on specific operation patterns, so that speed-up techniques applicable to this method are necessary.
In this paper we have proposed a method grouping fibers and connectors (elements) in order to fundamentally decrease the number of combinations of elements examined during searching routes.
The proposed method can rapidly group elements initially, and incrementally update groups of elements when some elements are connected or disconnected.
We have applied our method to network configurations of various scales and shown its feasibility and effectivity.
