The traffic growth for mobile communications even in trains is expected because cost conscious users fade due to flat rate pricing. Since CDMA systems are characterized as interference-limited systems, an effective cell planning is required, considering the mass mobility in trains, when the traffic in trains increases. We have proposed a fundamental cell planning scheme for a mass of accessing users along railway tracks for only a single time period in CDMA systems. In this paper, we propose more practical cell planning schemes considering the different numbers of accessing users through multiple time periods. Moreover, a sequential scheme is also proposed for a large number of time periods. |
