Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) We developed a polarization-division Sagnac interferometer, in which focusing optical elements are separated from the interferometer. The interferometer is also appropriate for low-temperture microscopy. The time-dependent nonlinear phase and amplitude changes are measured by using the newly developed interferometer. The signal-to-noise ratio is found to be greatly improved.
