We propose a novel MISO MC-CDMA downlink scheme to achieve higher diversity orders even in fully loaded systems. Widely used Orthogonal Space Time Block Coded (OSTBC) MC-CDMA system is less efficient with larger number of transmit antennas.On the other hand, recently introduced Cyclic Delayed MC-CDMA has poor performance in fully loaded systems. To overcome these problems, we investigate a combination of orthogonal and quasi-orthogonal STBC with Cyclic Delay Diversity (CDD). By computer simulations, it is shown that proposed system with pilot assisted MMSE signal estimation provides higher diversity orders
and reduces the effects of multi-user interference(MUI). |
