Recently, P2P(Peer-to-Peer) systems are in the spotlight instead of client/server systems. P2P technology is expected to be used in many fields such as file sharing systems, distributed storage systems and contents delivery systems. P2P network researches focus on how to get data certainly and efficiently. For that purpose, the construction of an overlay network on a physical network is important.
In this paper, we propose a control method of an overlay network with small degree and diameter based on de Bruijn graph. On this overlay network, we can arrive at a destination node within $\lceil \log_2 n\rceil$ hops with at most degree 4 used for routing\ ($n$ is the number of nodes in the system). In addition, this overlay network is scalable for the number of nodes and robust against joins and leaves of nodes. |
