Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) We have developed a WBT system which can create quizzes collaboratively by students, in order to solve problems which are lack of e-Learning materials and interactions among students and a teacher or students in higher education. In addition, we have mainly used it practically in classes of our university. The results of questionnaires showed that it was the effective tool to improve learning motivation. However, various organizations’ search reports, which were surveyed by National Institute for Educational Policy Research et al, point out that Japanese children’s motivation for learning is decreasing. From these backgrounds, we tried to improve their learning motivation by introducing our developed system at an elementary school. In this paper, we report the practices creating quizzes by elementary school children, reviewing the quizzes by themselves and answering on-line tests which have been carried out in the “Period for Integrated Study” of an elementary school. Furthermore, we discuss the differences between university students’ use results and the children’s use results and propose the system which supports interschool exchange based on the collaborative quizzes creation.
