Highly efficient waveguide wavelength converter for all-optical communication systems

(in English) Efficient wavelength converter was demonstrated in low-loss adhered ridge waveguide fabricated by dry etching in periodically poled Mg:LiNbO3. We obtained highest SHG efficiency of 4500 %/W in telecom band for 32 mm interaction length. Using this device, highly efficient DFG conversion characteristics between C-L bands were observed.
