A Study on Group-Controlled Frequency Domain Scheduling for OFDMA/TDD Systems

Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) This paper proposes channel state information (CSI) reduction techniques for frequency domain scheduling techniques
in orthogonal frequency division multiple access / time division duplex (OFDMA/TDD) systems. The proposed CSI
reduction techniques include “group-controlled frequency domain scheduling techniques” which reduce CSI by dividing the
band and users allocated and scheduling independently in each group, CSI reduction method taking advantage of the symmetry
of up and downlink channels of TDD systems, and “schedule request schemes” in which association users waiting for data
transmission send a channel allocation request only when they can achieve high transmission rates.
