In recent years, development of the technique of discriminating PureP2P traffic by network traffic observation is progressing. We paid our attention to the technique not from payload part but from header information. We have shown possibility that discrimination by “New Connection Rate” is useful. In order to apply “New Connection Rate” to general PureP2P, the elucidation of the principle based on the characteristic of PureP2P traffic is important. Then, we performed the file-sharing simulation using 200 machines in the Hokuriku IT Development Support Center in order to solve the principle of traffic by PureP2P file-sharing software. Especially, we focused on the influence of the network constitution of P2P to traffic characteristics, and paid our attention to the existence of initial nodes and band composition ratio in a network. This showed that the existence of initial nodes and the band composition ratio caused the increase in the number of connection nodes. |
