Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) It is necessary to exchange or share information between portable information devices by the growth of them in mobile circumstance.
With the trend toward improving the performance of wireless communication technologies and portable information devices,
there has been an increase of research into an ad-hoc network constructed by mobile nodes with multi-hop communication.
In this research, we propose the hierarchical communication model for ad-hoc networks with the goal of increasing the probability of connectivity.
We estimated the connectivity probabilities by simulations to evaluate the proposed model. As a result, we found that the hierarchical communication
model was more effective than the non-clustered architecture.
