Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) In recent years, the development of the pedestrian navigation system using a cellular phone is performed briskly. In the service of the pedestrian navigation being offered now, however, the one intended for the cellular phone equipped with GPS is a main current. In consequence, the position cannot be specified under the environment that the electric wave of GPS doesn't reach, and cellular phone not equipped with GPS.In this research, we proposed the pedestrian navigation system that used the video conferencing telephone function of Future Public Land Mobile Telecommunication Systems, and the ability of a new positional specific system that did not use GPS was evaluated. We proposed and evaluated a technique for presuming user's three dimension position that a marker set up in the navigation space was detected in the image. By the experiment, we verified the effectiveness and the accuracy of our proposed method.
