Estimation of a Radiation Pattern of Phased Array Antenna at Spurious region

(in English) According to new regulation of the unwanted emission level for radar equipment, it is necessary to measure antenna patterns at spurious emission region. However, it is difficult to measure the radiation pattern of phased array antenna using a lot of antenna elements in a complex phase state. Therefore, we estimate the spurious radiation pattern and maximum antenna gain, based on the principle of pattern multiplication, using measured element pattern. In this report, we have described the estimation of radiation pattern of phased array antenna using a dipole antenna as a typical array antenna element.
