It is important for diagnosing diseases by doctor and planning of surgery to
recognize lung vessels from human body and classify these into arteriae
and veins.
In this reserch, we propose a method of heart structure recognition,
especially ventricle and atrium using dividing estimated heart area
from 3-D torso CT images by plane.
And we discuss a method of classifing lung vessels which connect to
a ventricle or an atrium into arteriae and veins using results of heart structure recognition.
In this paper, We also express the evaluation result of a method mentioned above and applied it to contrast-enhanced 3-D torso CT images. |
