[Invited Talk] Wireless Broadband and Mobile Digital Broadcasting policy in Korea

(in English) Korea set up IT839 strategy to enhance the competitiveness of Korean IT industry. WiBro and DMB are the most important elements in IT839 strategy. WiBro is watched with keen interest since it has been cooperated by mobile WiMAX. Korea also drive forward the DMB(Digital Multimedia Broadcasting) as a future killer application in the mobile communication. In this paper, I introduce the Wireless Broadband and Mobile Broadband Policy in Korea as an advanced activities of convergence of communication and broadcasting.
