We investigate a fusion method in 3D multi-modality brain images.In the registration procedure, we perform 3D translation and rotation procedure based on the edge images of the brain surface by applying a 3D noise rejection and edge detection filter procedure to the original images.
In the estimation procedure, HCMA(Hierarchical Chamfer Matching Algorithm) method is applied to the MR image.From the computer experiments, it is found that our method can success to make the registration with high accuracy and to save computational task. |
