Measurement of Radio Propagation Characteristics for Inter-Vehicle Communication in Shadowing Environment by Vehicle

(in English) In the Inter-Vehicle communication environment, the shadowing effect caused by the vehicle between the transmitting and receiving vehicles becomes a serious problem. In this paper, we measured radio propagation characteristics in that environment to clarify the shadowing effect by the vehicle, using 2.5GHz and 5GHz bands. Then, we compared measurement results with calculated ones using the Ray-Trace method. And, we clarified which paths influenced the received power in shadowing environment.
