Current path line added diamond-shaped patch UWB antennas

(in English) Various types of wideband antennas for UWB systems have been proposed and investigated. This report presents also a wideband antenna for UWB. The structure is a kind of monopole antennas with a diamond shape, but current path lines are added outside the diamond-shaped patch conductor. The results are shown of detailed numerical investigation on the relation between structural parameters such as the path line position and antenna characteristics such as input impedance, return loss, and radiation patterns.
