A Proposal of Hierarchical Wireless Sensor Network using WLAN and Zigbee with Traffic Control

(in English) We propose a hierarchical network, which consists of sensor network, relay network and application network. We apply WLAN to relay networks and application networks, ZigBee to the wireless sensor networks. ZigBee and WLAN can share the same channel in the 2.4GHz band by the introduction of traffic control. From the results of our experiments and simulations, it is shown that interchannel interference between ZigBee and WLAN can be mitigated by sharing time when we control traffic of WLAN. Moreover, we show the cluster channel assignment.
