Design of a Slender V-pol. Broadband Base Station Antenna

(in English) Wideband and slender antenna is required for mobile communication systems's base station antenna. We have proposed to install a partiality cylindrical parasitic element in front of the raidation element to achieve a wide bandwidth. But a low-level frequency characteritic of radiation pattern and slim radome are also important factors for a wideband antenna. In this paper, we proposed a printed dipole antenna with cylindrical reflector and partiality cylindrical parasitic element. After an investigation of the input and radiation characteristics due to antenna parameter, the design charts for a slender wideband antenna, which has low-level frequency characteristic on horizonal radiation pattern is proposed.
