Position presumption during sleeping by using a three-axis acceleration sensor

(in English) Holter ECG is used for monitoring a heart disease that occurs in daily life. When abnormal heart beat is detected during sleeping from the record of the heart rate variability, it is necessary to detect whether it caused by heart disease or changing position. Information for making a decision is action record memo. It is impossible to record the sleeping position in the memo, because patient is unconscious while sleeping. Therefore, a method is required to detect the sleeping position while measuring the Holter ECG. This research proposed an algorithm which detects the time changing position, and estimates the sleeping position in five states using a three-axis acceleration sensor.
