A study of estimation of actions using a three-axis acceleration sensor

(in English) Trend in study of movement monitoring is combining of many sensors for high accuracy. But in modern society is described as wearable, ubiquitous and mobile. In this society, it’s hoped low cost, power saving and small also high accuracy. But combined sensors cannot meet their requirements. Because, they need high cost, high power in addition become big. In this study we proposed the action presumption algorithm, which estimates actions by using one three-axis acceleration sensor as a measurement equipment to aim at an automatic record. We performed evaluation experiment with sampling in precision to show the usefulness. As a result, a good result of no less than 95% was obtained in "Stop", "Walking", "up stair", and "down stair". And we obtained 87% that is average in experiment without sampling.
