Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) For allocating resources of optical access networks, a method which exploits constraint satisfaction problem (CSP) technique to support various operation patterns has been proposed.
Applicability of this method to actual network configurations, which are complex and various, however, has not been demonstrated, while that to a simple network configuration has been already demonstrated.
Network configurations in central offices are especially complex because fibers from users' network equipments are connected to optical line terminals through a number of cable racks in central offices.
Moreover, difference of demand of optical access network services among service providing areas causes difference of network configurations among central offices.
In this paper we have proposed a method to exploit CSP technique for allocating resources of complex and various network configurations.
The proposed method automatically determines the minimum number of CSP's variables based on network configurations, and regularly adds constraints which don't restrict the number of cable racks to be passed.
The method can support complex network configurations and automatically formulate CSP to be solved for resource allocation according to various network configurations.
