Fetal electrocardiogram (fECG) has been expected to play an important role in monitoring condition of fetal heart. A blind source separation (BSS) has been employed to extract the fECG. However, extracted fECG is not so reliable for clinical application. Distortion or nonlinearity of the fECG signal is one of the main reasons of this difficulty. We have developed a new filtering method to extract nonlinear signals from the noisy mixed observation. In this paper, the result of extraction is shown together with the filtering method. |
