Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) We have developed a wireless system transmitting motion pictures from a personal computer utilizing a 60 GHz-band transceiver with ASK modulation scheme. It can transfer uncompressed motion picture and audio data at 1.285 Gbps, which are serialized and combined. This system is capable of tranmitting picture data with SVGA, XGA, WXGA, and SXGA resolution. In order to reduce the oppotunities of disruption, a diversity technique with a transmitter and two resceivers is introduced. The ouput power of the transceiver is set to be 10mW. The bandwidth occupied by 99% signal power is 1.6 GHz. The minimum received power is -48 dBm, which is defined at a bit error rate of 10^-12. The maximum transmission distance is 11 m.
