| (in English) | Recently, varistors are getting smaller day by day with the mobile electrical appliances. We have succeeded to make an equivalent circuit for a special type of varistors which has only one internal electrode pair in the identical plane. Ohmic grain boundaries were taken into account for some grain boundaries and some models were proposed. The equivalent circuits were analyzed by a PSpice circuit simulator. Results showed that the I-V characteristics have a similar tendency with the average model. However, the calculated nonlinear coefficients showed that some models lost the characteristics of a varistor with the ohmic grain boundaries. | |
